Political Baron Simon Achidi Achu is no more.The political baron who hails from the northwest region of cameroon passed on to glory in the United State of America.
He has held certain top and prestigious positions in the Cameroon government; he was the minister of justice from 1972 to 1975 under the reign of president Ahidjo.
He later succeeded Sadou Hayatou as the 5th prime minister of Cameroon in 1992 and was succeeded four years later by Peter Mafany Musonge.
After holding other positions in Mr Biya’s government, he was re-initiated into the political scene when he was appointed as senator in the year 2013.
2021 has been a devastating year for the government of cameroon and the elites of the
English speaking regions of Cameroon. This is as the region loses two major political Elite and two major religious elites within the space of three months .
